Doug the Impaler
I would so much rather the built-in drivers support Maxwell. My guess is that, at least for now, they don't.

Guest
They don't. I tried. That's a pity. By the way, since you also own a Maxweill GPU, can you confirm that you sometimes see scrambled images within Safari ? I just got a Titan X, and I am facing this strange issue, mostly using Safari. MTWomg
Knock it off. The only reason this thread should be bumped is to post links to the drivers if/when they come out.
fantomas
sorry for this off-topic but some people could find this info helpful for all people with GTX570 and device-id 0x108610de, you don't have to wait for the first beta of Nvidia WebDriver for El Capitan... you can get this card work in El Capitan (guess with previous versions too) with FakeID - 0x108110de iMac-de-fantomas1:~ fantomas1$ kextstat |grep NVDA 68 2 0xffffff7f80f63000 0x283000 0x283000 com.apple.nvidia.driver.NVDAResman (10.0.6) 14B636BC-3AFD-3039-9941-5FAEED135628 69 0 0xffffff7f811f1000 0x1d1000 0x1d1000 com.apple.nvidia.driver.NVDAGF100Hal (10.0.6) 13324517-226D-37EA-BB8B-13D5C8478E6A

Austere.J
This works on build15A216g, GTX960 G1 Gigabyte. Are this suppose to work with Beta 4? Yes, because the NVDARequiredOS property in NVDAStartupWeb.kext is "15A".
dudenesspa
Working well with rootless=0 and kext-dev-mode=1. Additionally for some users out there, Dell UP2715k 5k monitor sleeps and wakes successfully! Been waiting for that for a while!

Guest
Could anyone running a Maxwell GPU on El Capitan do a quick test for me ? I was having some troubles rendering very specific images in Safari and/or Preview with Yosemite... ...and I don't have a Maxwell GPU available to re-do the test right now. If you could do this on your machine (simply opening a PDF and share the screenshot), it would be highly appreciated
